PLATFORM TERMS OF USE

These Terms govern the use of the MidwifePlus Platform and apply to all users accessing the website or related services.

1. Licence to Use the Platform

MidwifePlus Ltd grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose of connecting Clients with independent midwives.

Users must use the Platform only in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

MidwifePlus may modify or withdraw access to the Platform at any time.

2. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

• create false or fraudulent accounts
• impersonate another person or organisation
• upload, transmit, or distribute unlawful or harmful content
• harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to Platform systems or data
• interfere with the security or operation of the Platform
• upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• scrape, harvest, extract, or systematically collect data from the Platform
• use automated systems or bots to access the Platform without permission
• use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading activities

3. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Users must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to their account.

If a user becomes aware of unauthorised access or a security breach, they must notify MidwifePlus promptly.

MidwifePlus is not responsible for losses resulting from failure to safeguard login credentials.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the Platform, including:

• branding
• trademarks
• logos
• content
• software
• design
• databases

are owned by or licensed to MidwifePlus Ltd.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

Unauthorised use of Platform content may result in legal action.

5. Platform Integrity and Data Use

Users must not:

• copy substantial portions of Platform data
• use Platform content to create competing services
• train artificial intelligence systems using Platform data without permission

MidwifePlus reserves the right to restrict or block automated access to the Platform.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

MidwifePlus may suspend, restrict, or terminate user accounts where:

• these Terms are breached
• misuse of the Platform is suspected
• security concerns arise
• regulatory or safeguarding issues require action

MidwifePlus may take such action immediately where necessary to protect users, the Platform, or the public.

7. Changes to the Platform

MidwifePlus may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform without prior notice.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
